Preferred Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Hold or eligibility for appropriate state licensure required for school-based practice
- Prior experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings is beneficial
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to organize caseload, manage IEPs, and maintain necessary documentation effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and interpret results for students
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide targeted therapy sessions—both group and individual—addressing a full spectrum of speech, language, and communication challenges
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering valuable input for student support teams and families
- Collaborate daily with teachers, special educators, and support staff to foster inclusion and maximize student outcomes
- Monitor and document progress, maintaining all records according to school and regulatory requirements
