Job Description
Make a difference in the lives of students as a contracted School Psychologist. This position offers the chance to work closely with educational teams, students, and families to foster positive learning environments and support student development.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and community professionals
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify student needs
- Provide direct interventions and counseling to students individually or in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement strategies to support students’ academic and emotional success
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with professional standards and district policies
- Contribute to crisis intervention and prevention planning within the school community
