School Psychologist | Cicero, Illinois

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and community professionals

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify student needs
• Provide direct interventions and counseling to students individually or in groups
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement strategies to support students’ academic and emotional success
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide recommendations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with professional standards and district policies
• Contribute to crisis intervention and prevention planning within the school community
