Job Description
Step into an impactful role supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a welcoming educational environment. This full-time contract opportunity offers a 37.5-hour workweek, allowing you to focus on comprehensive speech and language services exclusively onsite. You’ll work with a manageable caseload—no more than 60 students, and often as few as 55—giving you the chance to provide high-quality, individualized attention and intervention.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license
- Current South Carolina Educator Certification
- SLP-CCC credentials strongly preferred
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Ability to work onsite and adapt to varying student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student growth and IEP goal achievement
- Document progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Provide support, training, and resources for educators and families to reinforce interventions in the classroom and at home
