Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
  • Valid state Radiologic Technologist license
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an IR Tech in an imaging department
  • Strong knowledge of current imaging technology and procedures
  • BLS certification (AHA accredited)
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain interventional radiology equipment to perform vascular and non-vascular procedures
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures and ensure their safety and comfort throughout
  • Document all relevant patient and procedural information accurately
  • Adhere to infection control standards and department protocols
