This role centers on providing comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for elementary-age students. You will collaborate with faculty and staff to support each child’s academic and social-emotional growth, ensuring every student receives the resources they need to succeed. With a 37.5-hour workweek, you’ll engage in meaningful work and enjoy a consistent schedule.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active, valid LSSP license (required)
  • Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting (elementary experience preferred)
  • Expertise in conducting psychoeducational evaluations, interpreting results, and providing actionable recommendations
  • Strong understanding of special education processes and laws regarding assessments
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and interpret psychological and educational assessments for elementary students
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations based on assessment data
  • Consult with educators, administrators, and parents to develop effective intervention strategies
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
