Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the full school year. With two openings available, you’ll play a key part in fostering student success and development in a collaborative educational setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with school-aged children across K-12 strongly preferred
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of communication disorders
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Adept at collaborating with teachers, families, and school personnel
- Passion for promoting inclusive, student-centered learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication services to students across all grade levels
- Conduct assessments and document progress through comprehensive evaluations and ongoing data collection
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans or IEPs in accordance with school and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with educators, and consult with family members regarding student progress
- Provide support, strategies, and resources for classroom teachers to address communication challenges
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal regulations
