Key Qualifications:

• Valid Professional FL TVI License (required)
• OMS Certification (required)
• Screening and assessment/testing experience (required)
• Preferred: Previous school-based experience with visually impaired students
• Strong communication and consultative skills across K-12 age groups
• Ability to travel between schools as part of an itinerant schedule

Role & Responsibilities:

• Deliver both direct and indirect vision support services to 15–20 K-12 students across multiple schools (typically 2–3 schools per day)
• Conduct screenings and assessments for students, utilizing strong testing acumen
• Develop individualized education programs and provide consultative services, some occurring monthly
• Collaborate with district staff to coordinate flexible weekly schedules and ensure a manageable commute
• Serve as a main point of contact for orientation and mobility needs
