Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Arizona Secondary Teaching License
- K-12 Special Education Certificate required
- IVP Fingerprint Card (current and valid)
- Experience supporting students with emotional disabilities or related eligibility categories
- Strong understanding of the diverse needs of at-risk and culturally diverse students
- Background in developing and implementing special services programs and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district standards
- Either possess EEEl training or willingness to participate in relevant professional development
- Ability to remain flexible, organized, and responsive to the evolving needs of the classroom
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and individualized support for students on your caseload
- Collaborate with team members to establish inclusive, positive learning environments
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and other required documentation
- Provide behavior support and strategies to foster student growth in social and emotional domains
- Engage parents, support staff, and colleagues in the student’s success
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all legal requirements
