Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting an elementary caseload within an educational setting near Ladson, SC. This role is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who are dedicated to helping young learners achieve success in their communication and language development.
You’ll work a full school day schedule, starting at 8:00 a.m. and wrapping up by 4:00 p.m., following the academic calendar from August 10, 2026, through June 4, 2027. Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to create positive, student-centered outcomes, all while enhancing your professional skills in a supportive environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active South Carolina SLP license (required)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Skills in assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students in both group and one-on-one settings
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress
- Communicate regularly with colleagues, administrators, and families regarding student needs and achievements
- Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations
- Contribute to IEP meetings and educational planning
