Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting an elementary caseload within an educational setting near Ladson, SC. This role is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who are dedicated to helping young learners achieve success in their communication and language development.

You’ll work a full school day schedule, starting at 8:00 a.m. and wrapping up by 4:00 p.m., following the academic calendar from August 10, 2026, through June 4, 2027. Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to create positive, student-centered outcomes, all while enhancing your professional skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active South Carolina SLP license (required)
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities
  • Skills in assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students in both group and one-on-one settings
  • Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress
  • Communicate regularly with colleagues, administrators, and families regarding student needs and achievements
  • Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and educational planning
