This 0.9 FTE role is uniquely shared, with responsibilities at two nearby high schools for an engaging and varied experience—0.50 FTE at one campus and 0.40 FTE at the other. Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Minnesota
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions supporting students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
  • Ability to manage a flexible caseload across multiple buildings
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering independence, inclusion, and meaningful participation among all students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students’ therapeutic needs in academic and functional areas
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans and targeted interventions
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP goals
  • Provide consultation, resources, and professional guidance to educational staff
  • Rotate between both assigned high schools as scheduled, ensuring consistent service delivery and follow-up
  • Participate in meetings, professional development, and school-based initiatives
