School Psychologist - North Dartmouth, MA

Situated near North Dartmouth, MA, this contract role focuses on promoting academic success, emotional well-being, and positive behavioral outcomes for a student population of approximately 900. The most recent testing caseload included around 70 students, offering a manageable and engaging work scope. This opportunity is posted as a full-time position, but flexible scheduling is available for candidates seeking part-time (three days per week) arrangements.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• State licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychoeducational assessments
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to create individualized recommendations for interventions and supports
• Commitment to promoting equity and positive student outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for referred students, evaluating cognitive, academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to develop effective interventions and supports
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts as needed
• Provide short-term counseling and behavioral consultation to students
• Maintain clear documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
