In this role, you’ll:
- Deliver hands-on instructional and behavioral support in both whole-class and small-group settings, and provide individualized assistance to students from early elementary to early high school.
- Serve as a flexible, school-wide resource, shifting seamlessly between lower elementary, middle, and early high school environments in response to shifting priorities across grades K–9.
- Build positive relationships with students of all ages, cultivating an encouraging, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere in every classroom.
- Collaborate daily with general education teachers, special education staff, and administrators to help maintain classroom structure and effective instruction.
- Remain adaptable and supportive wherever you’re needed, ensuring each day brings meaningful impact for students and educators alike.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree, Paraprofessional Certification, or passing Praxis Assessment score is preferred.
- Proven comfort and enthusiasm for working with students ranging from kindergarten through 9th grade.
- Exceptional flexibility, positivity, and a calm, energetic presence in a fast-paced school environment.
- A collaborative approach and strong communication skills.
