LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our client's team in Kearny Mesa on a 3-6 month temporary assignment with the potential to become a permanent employee based on performance and business needs. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys supporting employees, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our client's team in Kearny Mesa on a 3-6 month temporary assignment with the potential to become a permanent employee based on performance and business needs. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys supporting employees, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate full-cycle recruiting, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and assisting with hiring decisions
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, orientation, and completion of employment documentation
- Process I-9 forms and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Maintain accurate employee records and update information within the HRIS system
- Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping, attendance tracking, and employee scheduling
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries
- Respond to employee questions regarding company policies, benefits, and HR procedures
- Assist with employee relations matters while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- Prepare HR reports, maintain personnel files, and support audits as needed
- Coordinate training sessions, employee engagement activities, and company events
- Partner with managers to support performance management and employee development initiatives
- Perform general administrative duties to support the Human Resources department
- Minimum of 1 year of Human Resources experience required
- Knowledge of HR compliance, I-9 verification, and employment laws
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- 3-6 month contract role, possibility to go permanent
- Onsite role
- Located in Kearny Mesa, San Diego
- Compensation: $26.00-$29.00 per hour DOE
- Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:30pm PST
