Position: Entry-level Engineering Technician

Location: Odessa, FL 33556 (North of Tampa)

Duration: 6-mo contract to direct hire (with full intention of converting full time!)

Pay rate: $20/hr - $30/hr (based on experience)

  • Conversion salary: $65k - $75k

Job Description

We are seeking an Entry-Level Engineering Technician and are open to recent engineering graduates or individuals with an engineering degree and limited professional experience. This is a combination role wearing a few hats for a small but growing company. We are looking for a mechanically-inclined, organized, hands-on individual who is excited to work on our countertop blenders – troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, reassembling, upgrading, testing. This person would also be responsible for reporting and documenting findings. In addition, they would manage a warehouse of machines and parts including shipping and receiving duties. Finally, they will work in the test lab, evaluating new concepts and performing needed testing.


Responsibilities:

- Manage a warehouse and lab environment with a focus on organization and cleanliness

- Upgrade blenders with new parts

- Test blenders to make sure they perform as expected

- Test new engineering parts/designs, providing needed feedback or reports

- Disassemble, inspect, document field-returned blenders

- Troubleshoot malfunctioning blenders

- Document findings in reports to share with engineering

- Manage blender, freezer, display, and spare part inventory

- Organize shipping and logistics of parts and blenders ⁃ Perform lab testing



Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
