This contract opportunity involves covering two leaves of absence for school psychologists: one at the elementary level and one in a high school setting. You will make a meaningful impact on students’ learning journeys while working alongside dedicated education professionals near Braintree, MA.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current licensure as a School Psychologist in Massachusetts
  • Prior experience in educational settings, preferably at both elementary and high school levels
  • Proficiency with conducting initial evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Skilled in chairing and participating in IEP meetings
  • Experience providing counseling services to students is essential
  • Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills

What You’ll Do:

  • During the first leave (September 1 – November 2, 2026), provide psychological services for an elementary school, including evaluations, re-evaluations, IEP meeting leadership, and student counseling
  • Transition to the second leave in December, overlapping with the incumbent school psychologist to ensure a smooth handover
  • From approximately December 21/22 through early May, perform initials and re-evaluations—primarily focused on students in a high school resource program
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student needs and ensure compliance with special education regulations
  • Maintain thorough documentation and contribute positively to a supportive school culture
