Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a vibrant educational environment, supporting students’ communication skills and growth. Several full-time, onsite opportunities are available for dedicated SLPs for the 2026-2027 school year, spanning Early Intervention through K-12 settings. These contract roles offer the chance to make a real impact within inclusive school communities.

Available Roles:

  • Role A: Serve in-person at two elementary buildings (Conewango & Mt Wolf) within the North Eastern School District. Support regular education and autistic support classrooms, manage a caseload of approximately 50–55 students, and handle some case management responsibilities. Schedule: August 18, 2026 – May 27, 2027, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 3:30 pm, 35 hours per week.
  • Role B: Shape school readiness skills for children ages 3–5 as an Early Intervention SLP in New Oxford/Gettysburg. This year-round position (with frequent breaks) allows you to focus on special education needs and provides dedicated time for paperwork.
  • Role C: Provide therapy services in an elementary school in York County for the upcoming academic year, working alongside a supportive team. Schedule is approximately 8:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday.

Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania SLP certification and teaching certificate required at the time of application.
  • SLP-CCC strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting school-aged populations, including Early Intervention and Autism Spectrum populations, is ideal.
  • Clinical Fellows are considered if supervision is covered; SLPAs are not eligible for these openings.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based speech therapy.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to enhance student progress.
  • Maintain timely documentation and case management, as needed.
