Key Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Active Alabama Professional Educator SLP Certificate (can be verified via the Alabama Teacher Certification portal)
• Experience delivering speech-language services in school settings preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively serve a caseload of approximately 60 students
• Ability and willingness to travel between school sites as needed
• Excellent interpersonal communication, documentation, and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality speech and language therapy services for K-12-aged students across three schools
• Conduct assessments, create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, staff, and families to support student success and compliance
• Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and team consultations
• Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
