Job Description
Exciting opportunity available for a skilled and passionate School Psychologist to provide comprehensive support in an elementary school setting for the full school year. This full-time, contract position is designed for a dynamic professional eager to make a lasting impact on students' well-being and academic success.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid certification/licensure for School Psychology
- Previous experience in an elementary school setting strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of child development, assessment, intervention, and consultation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students to support individualized learning strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design interventions and promote student success
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention support as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to develop appropriate educational plans
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all ethical and professional standards
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
