Exciting opportunity for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a meaningful impact supporting students and staff for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, onsite contract role involves working closely with educational professionals to develop and implement effective behavioral programs.
Key Qualifications/Experience:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Proficiency in conducting and writing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Strong background in training and modeling behavioral strategies for teachers, paraprofessionals, and RBTs
- Demonstrated ability to supervise RBTs and collaborate with fellow BCBAs
- Familiarity with maintaining electronic records and organizing data collection systems
- Excellent communication skills to present information to diverse audiences
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess student needs by conducting FBAs and classroom observations; generate actionable recommendations
- Develop, implement, and adjust BIPs and positive behavior interventions based on ongoing data and staff feedback
- Train and coach teachers, paraprofessionals, and RBTs in intervention strategies and classroom management
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation, reports, and electronic files
- Collaborate with school staff and district personnel to evaluate program effectiveness, recommend adjustments, and support program development
- Coordinate delivery of behavioral services, manage materials, and organize schedules to balance the needs of multiple students and settings
- Stay current on evidence-based research and practices within the field
- Present on strategies, program implementation, and best practices to educational teams
