Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Mckeesport, PA

Key qualifications and desired experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Pennsylvania SLP Educator Certificate required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Proficiency developing IEPs, conducting assessments, and delivering evidence-based interventions
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills

Primary responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students three days a week
• Perform assessments and evaluations, maintaining thorough documentation
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student progress
• Attend team meetings, contribute to IEP discussions, and update goals as needed
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

This contract position is scheduled for three onsite days per week from 8:15AM to 3:40PM, offering a balanced work schedule that complements your expertise and professional growth.
