Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (state requirements must be met)
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience working in elementary schools preferred
- Ability to administer and interpret psychological evaluations
- Strong communication and consultative skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive school climate
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group assessments to identify student needs and educational barriers
- Develop and implement intervention strategies that support student learning and well-being
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to design and monitor effective support plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise for students requiring special education services
- Facilitate crisis intervention and provide counseling or referral as needed
- Promote positive behavioral supports and evidence-based practices throughout the school
