Qualifications and Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Orientation and Mobility (O&M) program
• Valid COMS (Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist) credential
• Standard Arizona O&M endorsement required
• Current IVP fingerprint clearance card
• Experience in school settings, particularly at the high school level, is preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt instructional strategies
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct orientation and mobility instruction to students with visual impairments
• Conduct individualized assessments and develop student-centered instructional plans
• Collaborate with special education teams, staff, and families to ensure cohesive support
