With the potential for both onsite and virtual service, this full-time position offers flexibility and variety throughout the academic year, from August 3 through May 21.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Standard Secondary Teaching License
• K-12 Certificate or endorsement in Visually Impaired Special Education
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required
• Demonstrated experience delivering specialized instruction to students with visual impairments
• Ability to support diverse learners across grade levels
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Comfortable working either onsite or in a virtual teaching environment, as required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction for students with visual impairments within designated schools
• Adapt curriculum materials and teaching strategies to optimize accessibility and learning outcomes
• Consult and collaborate closely with general education teachers, parents, and support staff
• Contribute to IEP development, progress monitoring, and reporting
• Utilize assistive technology and other resources for enhanced student support
• Provide direct and consultative services across multiple locations, ensuring continuity of care
