Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher credential or certification, applicable in the state
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
• Prior experience teaching or supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with staff, students, and families
• Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Familiarity with various instructional strategies and classroom management techniques

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to students with disabilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to support student integration
• Utilize assessments and data to inform instruction and track student progress
• Communicate regularly with families and relevant stakeholders about student progress and needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
• Foster a positive and productive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth
