Located just over an hour and a half from the West New Mexico border, this onsite position is tailored for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) who value collaboration and professional growth.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA qualified to work in schools
- Experience working with early childhood education and elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong knowledge of articulation, language, and pragmatic interventions
- Ability to implement individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Openness to supervision and mentorship (CFY supervision available)
- Organized, self-motivated, and flexible in dynamic school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in Pre-K through 1st grade on campus
- Address needs related to articulation, language development, and pragmatic/social skills
- Develop and implement individualized and group therapy plans
- Collaborate closely with supervising SLPs, teachers, families, and other professionals
- Monitor student progress and provide regular reporting and documentation
- Participate in professional learning opportunities and team meetings
- Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment for all students
