Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of educational assessments, IEP development, and behavioral intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and counseling skills, with the ability to work with diverse student populations
  • Familiarity with MTSS/RTI, and willingness to participate in team-based problem solving
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students in general and special education
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
  • Providing direct counseling, crisis intervention, and ongoing support to students experiencing academic, social, or emotional difficulties
  • Consulting with educators, administrators, and families on student needs, progress, and best practices
  • Delivering professional development and training to staff as needed
  • Helping to foster an inclusive and positive school environment
