Make a meaningful impact in students’ lives by providing critical behavioral and psychological support in elementary settings. An experienced school psychologist (or school social worker with corresponding expertise) is needed for an onsite contract role covering the academic year from August 2026 through May 2027. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with staff and young learners across two elementary sites, supporting them in developing and managing effective behavior plans.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist or school social worker
  • Professional experience designing and implementing behavior intervention plans
  • Proficiency in conducting pre-referral, evaluative activities, and functional behavioral assessments
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially with multidisciplinary teams
  • Background in supporting staff to manage a broad spectrum of student behaviors
  • Flexibility to serve multiple school sites as needed
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following best practices in student support services

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans for elementary students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support positive student outcomes
  • Provide consultation, training, and resources for school staff on behavior management strategies
  • Participate in pre-referral intervention teams and conduct necessary assessments
  • Maintain accurate documentation, timely reports, and student records
  • Foster a safe and supportive environment across both assigned school locations
