Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure as required for school-based practice
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged children or within schools preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with special education staff and teachers
  • Create engaging, evidence-based interventions tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and inclusion
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and ongoing professional development activities
