Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for the state of California (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but clinical fellows welcome
  • Previous experience in school-based settings especially with middle school students is advantageous
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a middle school caseload across a 35-hour weekly schedule
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
