Key Responsibilities- Provide 24-hour call coverage for gastroenterology.
- Handle an average of 2 to 5 consultations daily.
- Work in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
- Perform upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy.
- Conduct esophageal dilatation, manometry, and small bowel biopsy.
- Manage Sengstaken/Blakemore tube insertion and care.
- Anticipate ongoing coverage requirements.
