Bilingual Medical Receptionist

Employment Type: 3 month contract
Location: Optum Little Havana – Optum Little Havana – 2974 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Optum is seeking a friendly, organized, and bilingual Receptionist to support our Activity Center in Little Havana. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service and administrative experience who enjoys creating a welcoming environment while keeping daily office operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients, visitors, and vendors
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Schedule meetings and maintain calendars
• Manage office supplies, mail distribution, and office organization
• Coordinate travel arrangements, lunch orders, and event RSVPs
• Set up and tear down Activity Center events
• Perform filing, copying, scanning, faxing, and other clerical duties
• Coordinate building and equipment maintenance as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of customer service and/or clerical experience
• 1+ year of office management experience, including opening/closing the office, maintaining supplies, and ensuring office organization
• 1+ year of experience coordinating travel, lunch orders, mail, or event logistics
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
• Knowledge of customer service principles and office procedures
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

• Receptionist or call center experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
