Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state
- Previous experience in school-based OT, home health, healthcare, and/or teletherapy preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Able to effectively manage a K-12 caseload with varied student needs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt interventions for different learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students in school, home, or virtual settings as needed
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations, documenting progress and making appropriate adjustments
- Attend IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations based on student performance
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and compliance guidelines
