What you’ll need:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid SLP license in Rhode Island
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working in school environments preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Dedication to providing evidence-based therapy and documentation
What you’ll do:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Develop, plan, and deliver individualized therapy sessions tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and IEP documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
- Provide input for eligibility, re-evaluation, and annual meetings
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where students feel supported and empowered
