Desired Qualifications:

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a closely related field
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills with students, families, and team members
  • Adaptable, organized, and committed to culturally responsive practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for eligible students
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to best support each student’s educational goals
  • Offer direct intervention, consultation, and resources to promote effective communication in the academic setting
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to meetings as needed
