This contract opportunity invites you to bring your expertise to a vibrant educational setting near Garland, TX, where you’ll support students' mental health, learning, and emotional development.

You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals from August 3rd, 2026 through May 27th, 2027, providing crucial evaluation, consultation, and intervention services. This is a full-time, 37.5 hour per week position, serving a caseload that will be determined as more information becomes available. As part of an engaged team, your work will contribute to positive educational outcomes and a supportive school climate.

What we’re seeking:

• Valid and active School Psychologist license issued by the state of Texas
• Experience working in a K-12 school setting is highly desirable
• Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and organization abilities
• Adaptability and a dedication to meeting each child’s unique needs
• Commitment to professional integrity and confidentiality

Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and write clear, actionable reports
• Develop and implement interventions targeting students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to ensure student plans are appropriate and effective
• Consult with educators, administrators, and families to support student learning
• Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed
