Job Description
Job Title: Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA)
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Pueblo & Canon City, CO.
Work Setting: Outpatient Private Dermatology Practice
Schedule
Full-time schedule consisting of 34-38 clinic hours per week.
Flexible 4- or 5-day work week based on provider preference.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, evaluate, and treat a wide range of medical dermatologic conditions.
Perform comprehensive skin examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide high-quality patient education and preventive skin care counseling.
Collaborate with supervising dermatologists and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently using the EMR.
Build and maintain strong relationships with referring providers.
Participate in provider meetings, Grand Rounds, and staff development initiatives.
Hire, train, mentor, and oversee dedicated Medical Assistants.
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining high clinical quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
Minimum of 2 years of dermatology experience working under a board-certified dermatologist.
Strong background in medical dermatology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Experience in aesthetic dermatology if trained under a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon.
