Job Description
Embark on an impactful opportunity supporting students in the Brighton, CO area as a school-based Occupational Therapist (OT) on a contract basis. This role offers a fulfilling blend of collaboration with elementary and high school students, positive work-life balance, and professional growth within a supportive educational setting.
You’ll work 34 hours each week, Tuesday through Friday, enjoying consistent long weekends with Mondays off. Responsibilities include delivering individualized therapy, evaluating student progress, and collaborating with educators to help students thrive academically and functionally.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) licensure required
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to different educational environments
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students across an elementary school (three days/week) and a high school (one day/week)
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans in coordination with educational staff
- Screen, evaluate, and document students’ functional abilities and progress
- Support students in achieving their academic and daily living goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to multidisciplinary teams
