School-Based Speech Language Pathologist

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – DeRuyter, NY

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a welcoming school district in DeRuyter, New York for the upcoming school year. This full-time opportunity offers a manageable caseload, a single building assignment, and the chance to make a meaningful impact with elementary students.

Position Details

• Location: DeRuyter, NY
• Start Date: September 1
• Schedule: Full-Time
• School Year: 2026–2027
• Building: One school building
• Caseload: Approximately 19 students, with the possibility of additional speech improvement services
• Grade Levels: Primarily Kindergarten through 4th grade, with a small middle school caseload

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy services
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based team meetings

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active New York SLP license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs encouraged to apply if applicable)
• New York State Teaching Certification (if required)
• School-based experience is a plus
