Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred
  • State licensure as required to practice in CT
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments with accurate and timely documentation
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to ensure holistic student support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
