Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist to contribute to student success and make a meaningful impact in a thriving school community. This contract role is based onsite, working with K-12 students for the 2026-2027 academic year, from August 26, 2026, through June 16, 2027. You’ll be part of a supportive educational environment, serving a diverse caseload of up to 45 students each week.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Washington SLP licensure/certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting with K-12 students preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 45 students effectively
- Must complete fingerprinting through OSPI before starting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering student development in speech, language, and communication
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group therapy services for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educational staff and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to ensure comprehensive support
