Specialty: Cardiothoracic surgery Coverage Needs: 10/8 - 10/12 Will have ongoing coverage needs Shifts: Call only Surgical time scheduled in AM, office in PM Rounding and oversight of post ops in ICU Census: Approx 2-5 pts admitted at a time Setting: Hospital Call from hotel - Surgeon will take calls from Cath Lab/INPT/ER & complete CABG/AVR urgent procedures if needed. Cardiologist may call from Cath Lab asking to reviewing films Support Staff: Full support staff Procedures: Aneurysm, thoracic vascular Chest wall debridement/rewiring sternum CABG Coronary atherosclerosis Pericardial Surgery and catheter drainage Sternotomy (re-do) TAVR experience is Mandatory EMR: Epic Board Certification: BC required Travel: Hospital will cover Credentialing timeline: 30-60 days for full privileges Requirements: Active IN license, CSR, DEA Clean Background AHA issued BLS
