Full Stack Engineers

Job Description

MastarRec is hiring a Full Stack Engineer – FinTech to support innovative financial technology platforms operating across the United States, building modern web applications and scalable cloud-based platforms.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side logic, RESTful APIs, and end-to-end solutions using Node.js, React, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.

Experience

3–5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on full-stack engineering.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate seamless, performant user interfaces using React.js or similar libraries.
\n
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with modern software engineering best practices.
\n
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features.
\n
• Optimize system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in code reviews.
\n
• Design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications and RESTful APIs using Node.js, Express, or similar frameworks.
\n
• Contribute to architecture discussions, and refactor or modernize legacy systems when necessary.
\n

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, Express, and API development.
\n
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
\n
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
\n
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).
\n
• Familiarity with RESTful or GraphQL API design and integration.
\n
• Proficient with version control systems such as Git and GitHub.
\n

Desired Skills

\n
• Frontend development experience using React.js, Next.js, or similar frameworks.
\n
• Experience deploying and scaling applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
\n
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
\n
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
\n
• Prior experience in FinTech, Healthcare, or SaaS product development is a plus.
