Role: Journeyman Electrician

Duration: Direct hire

Location: Local to DMV area

*This role requires 50% travel to customer sites using your own vehicle within the DMV area*

*This is a night shift position: Sunday - Thursday (Midnight-7AM)

Desired Skills:

• Completed electrician apprenticeship
• Valid Journeyman Electrician License (DC or Maryland with reciprocity)
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Hands-on experience with DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems), including:
• • Field testing, Submeter repairs, Hardware troubleshooting, Equipment diagnostics

Job Description:

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join their team. This individual will be working in transportation stations across the DMV area. Daily responsibilities include test electrical systems using voltmeters, oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment, maintain and troubleshoot underground wireless communication systems.

Pay Ranges from $90,000-$1000,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings, paid leave as provided by applicable law.
