Make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary students by supporting their social, emotional, and academic growth in a contract role designed for a dedicated school psychologist. Work with students in grades 2 through 5, guiding them and providing expert psychological services in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience serving elementary-aged children, preferably in resource or inclusion settings
  • Strong knowledge in social-emotional learning and behavioral interventions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and organizational skills
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting psychological assessments for students in resource or inclusion settings
  • Providing targeted interventions, consultation, and counseling for students in a social-emotional classroom, as well as other special education environments
  • Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized educational and behavioral plans
  • Participating in meetings and contributing to the educational planning process for students
  • Maintaining detailed and confidential records of evaluations, services, and recommendations
  • Engaging positively with families and caregivers to support student success
  • Physical restraint is not expected in this role
