Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic school-based setting. This is a full-time, contract opportunity offering 37.5 hours per week and the chance to make a significant difference in children’s learning journeys.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid South Carolina SLP license required
  • South Carolina Educator certification is mandatory
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working onsite with K-12 students
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a caseload of up to 60 students (caseloads may be 55 or fewer)
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Conduct IEP meetings, prepare documentation, and monitor each student’s progress
  • Provide prevention, intervention, and consultation services according to students’ needs and educational plans
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and policies
