Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active SLP-CCC certification
- California state licensure or eligibility
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with communication and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in compliance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student development and academic success
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluation results, therapy sessions, and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
- Offer support and resources to families and educators to facilitate communication strategies
