Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential speech-language services in a vibrant school setting near Redwood City, CA. This assignment will run from August 13th through June 11th, offering a structured yet dynamic environment where you can make a meaningful difference in students’ educational journeys. This is an onsite position—ideal for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists dedicated to in-person engagement and collaboration with students and educational staff.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential authorizing services in Language, Speech, & Hearing or a California credential to serve as a Language/Speech and Hearing Specialist
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current California Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • School-based experience or a strong willingness to apply prior SLP expertise to the educational setting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech, language, and hearing services to PreK-12 students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and maintain progress documentation in alignment with school and state requirements
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support each student’s academic and social growth
  • Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and contribute to student goal-setting

This contract position is onsite, providing 37.5 hours of engaging work each week within a supportive school environment that encourages professional development and student-centered practice.
