Radiologic Technologist in Huntersville, NC

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a vital position performing imaging services as a Radiology/X-ray Technologist at a leading healthcare facility. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals experienced in diagnostic radiology, ready to provide outstanding care in a dynamic clinical environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts
• 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• On-call responsibilities: up to 2 shifts per month (if needed)
• Weekend rotation required
• Holiday rotation: expectation to work 75% of holidays
• No floating between departments

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as an Imaging – Radiology Tech or X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist
• Current, valid certification/licensure appropriate for radiologic technology
• Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging procedures and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues
• Adaptable and reliable, with the ability to thrive during holiday and weekend rotations

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and general radiology imaging in accordance with physician orders
• Accurately position patients and operate radiologic equipment to ensure optimal image quality
• Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize workflow and patient outcomes
• Provide empathetic patient care, clearly explaining procedures and addressing concerns
• Participate in on-call rotations and fulfill scheduled holiday and weekend shifts as needed
