An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to provide vital support to students and staff in an educational setting. You’ll work closely with the existing full-time psychologist and help address the diverse needs of approximately 200 identified students. This full-time position requires onsite presence and allows you to make a meaningful impact while collaborating with experienced professionals.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or closely related field
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Demonstrated experience working with school-aged children in an educational environment
  • Familiarity with assessment tools, special education processes, and intervention strategies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach
  • Ability to effectively manage caseload and documentation in a timely manner
  • Capacity for adapting to evolving student needs and program requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychological and educational assessments for students as needed
  • Participate in eligibility determinations and the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ academic and social-emotional well-being
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students when appropriate
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings alongside a full-time psychologist in the building
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with regulations
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and staff meetings

The position begins as soon as possible and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, onsite.
