Assignment Details:
- Full-time hours: 37.5 per week, from August 12, 2026 to May 28, 2027
- Openings on the North, Northeast, and South sides of the district
- Opportunities at primarily a single campus, with some itinerant positions possible
- Caseload specifics and age groups will be determined upon assignment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication skills and a patient, student-focused approach
- Ability to collaborate with educators and families to maximize students’ potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver direct therapy services and document student progress
- Consult with teachers and support staff to integrate strategies across learning environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
- Foster a positive, supportive atmosphere for students of varied backgrounds
